How Do I Look?
Body Dysmorphic disorder is a hidden struggle that affects a variety of people. This project is an effort to bring awareness to BDD and provide support to those suffering from mental health struggles related to their appearance.
Body Dysmorphic Disorder involves an unhealthy preoccupation with one's physical appearance and their perception of themself. These concerns come with heavy shame, guilt, and low self-esteem, which may lead to debilitating behaviors. BDD can be focused on any part of one's body, but is typically related to the face, skin, hair, or nose. Each individual's experience is unique, serious, and valid.
We hope to bring proper representation to a condition that silently impacts so many people.
